GeoMargins the intersection of geoscience and commercial delivery

GeoMargins is a geoscience, subsurface advisory and technology transfer company focused on delivering:

  • Exploration and development data programmes

  • Commercialisation of subsurface datasets

  • Structured frameworks for data ownership and control

We operate across the full lifecycle — from data generation to licensing and revenue capture — ensuring that technical work translates into commercial outcomes.

Our work is defined by two parallel objectives:

  • Deliver data that supports exploration and investment

  • Establish systems that allow that data to generate long-term value

  • Track record in seismic / multi-client / licensing

  • Government engagement

  • Commercial deal experience

Jason Robinson

Jason is a global upstream executive with more than three decades of experience delivering complex seismic, subsurface, and commercial projects across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has built and led high-performing teams delivering large-scale exploration programs and establishing the commercial and technical foundations for exploration success.

He has a strong record of structuring complex projects, designing adaptive pricing models, and managing multidisciplinary inputs across operations, legal, finance, and regulatory stakeholders—capabilities central to GeoMargins model of technical validation, risk management, and investment structuring in West Africa.

As a director, he brings strategic discipline, deep commercial insight, and a long-standing ability to originate, shape, and deliver energy projects that attract capital to turn frontier opportunities into bankable, technically assured investment ventures, underdeveloped resources and to finally deliver sovereign assets through capability development of the Ministries and Regulators.
